Title is from the Samurai Champloo song "YOU". And it just so happens to work, I had that song in my head all the way through doing this one.

...*SQUEEEEEEEE* Okay. So, I'm really biased in how much I love how this came out, basically because I am totally fangirly over Mugen and Fuu and them being a couple and stuff...so, sorry if I'm being totally annoying in this description. XD

Samurai Champloo is like my "sugar" anime. It has ALL the stuff I like to see that's really all fluff and doesn't really make a good series when it reeeeally comes down to it, but I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT. I love love love that show. And the weird thing is, instead of wanting to read the manga too, I WANT TO BE COMPLETELY oblivious of ANYTHING else 'Samurai Champloo' besides this show. ^o^;; I don't want to taint what I've seen so far...! I'm weird. Sorry.

SO! Finally did some fanart. I had tried sketching Mugen before, but I had no idea where it was going, and left it as a sketch. Recently, I saw this drawing tutorial by ConeMonster. It's a pretty simple process that they explain, but I decided to keep some of that stuff in mind when I did this drawing. I really think it worked. The biggest thing was planning out the drawing before I started; I just drew with really sloppy, meandering light-light-light lines, ignoring anatomy and other stuff just to decide what the basic layout would be. In the end, that made Mugen's pose come out GREAT, if I may be so bold as to say so. ...^_^...

Unfortunately, there are some not-so-good parts in it; the concept of the picture in my head ended up taking over my pencil a bit too much, and made Fuu way too small compared to Mugen. AND!! FUU'S!! FACE!! WHAT THE HECK?! I know it looks sorta decent here, but I swear, I was WRESTLING with that mutha' fugga' for SO LONG...and in the end it may have came out better than those previous attempts, but still, I couldn't get her to look just...MATCHED with Mugen's face, ya know? Grrr.
