sumi-e on normal paper

So! Yesterday, I volunteered to help out my mom in this M.A.D. (Music, Arts, and Drama) camp we have at church. It's an awesome camp; basically, it's like Vacation Bible School, but more with a focus on the arts and stuff. I'm a MAJOR fan of putting more arts curriculum into education, so I looooove this camp. I've helped out a bit in the past, too.

Anyway, I taught the kids how to paint in the Sumi-e Japanese art style! Which is totally hilarious, because I'm totally still learning myself. ^o^;; Anyway, I picked out some of the sumi-e I did that I think are worth posting. This one wasn't done on actual sumi-e paper like the rest are, so the paint doesn't look as bold as it should, but I like how the composition came out.
