Little known fact: my Dad's birthday is the SAME DAY as 's!!

Wow, I think this is the first time I've ever drawn my dad. ^_^ Mom asks for pictures of her all the time, so there are way more of her, but I decided this year to try the other parent.

Powertool: He might not get that many chances to play Mr. Fix-up, since half the time we just call an repair guy, but when he does, he really gets into it. He'll go on about the great job he's done for a couple days afterwards. ^_^;; He was installing two new doors when I was drawing this, which is mostly why I put that there.

Drum Stick: No, not a brush. Or pencil. Derek needs glasses. ^_^ Anyway, my Dad has a rather huge hobby, and that hobby is DRUMS. Lots of that stuff. He usually doesn't like recieving gifts, but if it's drum-related, he loves it. My dad was one of those garage-band dudes in the 70s-80s when he was in college (my mom was the groupie ^_^;; but not in the bad sense), and now he does gigs for churches around here. He's also trying to improve, which I think is admirable; he sounded great even before he started getting help from fellow percussionists and practicing in the bonus room. But anyway, that's his thang. My dad will never stop being a musician...and a drummer. ^_^ (<---music geeks only joke)

And, the title says "My Dad" in japanese. ^_^
